Latest Press Release for Public Sector:

PSAP and Police Department NG911 Dispatch App

Tort Logics operates USAccident.com, a service that processes accident report requests online in concert with the USAccident Dispatch Apps. Leveraging the smart phone technology explosion, Tort Logics envisioned and developed several NG911 smart phone apps that facilitate auto accident reporting, recording, submitting and requesting processes from an iPhone or Android phone. Specifically, this innovative application allows a user to record accident information, attach photos and file an Official Accident Report to the proper policing agency from their phone via the USAccident.com interface.
The USAccident Dispatch App can be sent to callers’ phone at the scene of an accident by PSAP and 911 operators or distributed automatically without personnel involvement through mobile phone SMS services. The technology is indiscriminant of geography, department size or technical sophistication of the 911 call center.  Designed to reduce administrative burden, make use of currently available technology and provide options in managing limited law enforcement resources, this e-government tool can generate significant savings for law enforcement agencies across the nation. This isn't just a creative app that provides free reports to auto accident victims, it's a green company and a NG911 service that saves city municipalities money every time the app is used.
  • Each non-injury accident report filed by way of a USAccident Dispatch App is equal to roughly 40 minutes of police officers’ time in the field, which translates into hundreds of dollars per response.
  • Complete implementation of the USAccident e911services into a PSAP or a police dispatch office takes one business day.
  • The USAccident Dispatch App can be sent to callers at the scene of an accident by an automated system thereby relieving call center burden.
Case Study: Tests are set to begin at one of the largest PSAPs in the nation. The USAccident Dispatch App will be tested for reliability and usability in a real world setting. We will rely on state, county and city departments using our NG911 services to share the results with neighboring governments in order to expedite the implementation of these services. Test results will also be shared with the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) and Intrado in an effort to form standard operating procedures that govern the use of this service.

Automated System Process Example: Text the word “911” to 292929 to receive the USAccident Dispatch App link back in a text message. Once downloaded the user can create an accident report, attach photos and file the report to the appropriate law enforcement agency from their phone. At the implementation phase of this process Police Departments supply their internal email address designated to receive non-injury reports.
